Video surveillance system in museum has its unique features. It requests continuous monitoring throughout the day, video high definition and small delay, at the same time long distance transmission is considered to meet the requirements offire control.

 

Modern IP Cameras which can realize 1080P full HD video image quality, 25/30FPS real-time video are installed in all monitoring points in museum to provide more comprehensive supports for security.

 

The museum is usually large, so requires a large number of cameras. The detailed requirement as below:

The camera must use a low illumination (star level) color camera, don’t use infrared auxiliary lights.

The power consumption of camera is below 5W, use PoE power supply.

Support 720P/1080P,ONVIF protocol and 25~60Fps recording

 

For signal transmission, its distance is up to 500m and simple wiring, there is no doubt that using PoE power supply is the best choice. However, PoE over Cat5 transmission only can be up to 100m, which brings new problems.

2-wire cable to install PoE Ethernet Extender to transmit PoE signal.
