Project Background

Phuket International Airport is located in the northern part of Phuket Island, Thailand. Due to the large number of people using the airport for vacation tourism to Phuket Island, the passenger throughput of Phuket International Airport is the second in all Thailand only to the New Bangkok International Airport in the capital Bangkok.

Project Requirement

The elevator is equipped with an IP intercom system, but there is no network cable available in the travelling cable, and network signal transmission needs to be realized.

Transmission Solution

 Ourten Ethernet Extender realizes IP intercom transmission over spare 2 core copper wire in the elevator travelling cable.
