Project Background

The Mumbai Tower is the tallest building under construction in India and also the tallest residential building in the world. The project is located in a prime location in Mumbai, the largest port city in India, covering an area of 68800 square meters with a height of 442 meters.

Project Requirement

The elevator is equipped with a video monitoring system. Due to the limited transmission distance of the network cable (70m), it is necessary to solve the long-distance transmission of the high-rise elevator network camera and ensure real-time high-definition signal transmission without interference.

Transmission Solution

By using Ourten Ethernet Extender OT-PLC302-N, the existing spare 2- wire in the travelling cable is given the function of transmitting IP signals for long distance and it ensures real-time high-definition signal transmission without interference.
