Project Requirement

The project involved upgrading the video surveillance system in elevators to enhance security within the office building. This upgrade required replacing outdated analog systems with a reliable IP video transmission system. To minimize disruption to ongoing office operations, it was crucial to complete the installation quickly and efficiently.



Transmission Solution

By using the Ourten Ethernet Extender OT-PLC302, the project utilized the existing spare 2-wire in the elevator's traveling cable to ensure reliable IP video transmission. This approach facilitated a smooth and efficient upgrade of the video surveillance system, reducing installation time and labor costs by 50%.
