Project Background

Azziano D&L Wing Urbania is part of the prestigious Rustomjee Urbania development in Majiwada, Thane. This high-end residential project offers modern living spaces with up to 47 floors in its towers.

Project Requirement

The elevator is equipped with a video monitoring system. Given the high-rise nature of the building, the primary challenge was the long-distance transmission of signals due to the limited network cable(70m). It was crucial to solve the issue of long-distance IP transmission to ensure real-time high-definition signal transmission without interference.

Transmission Solution

By using the Ourten Ethernet Extender OT-PLC302, the existing traveling cables in the elevators were utilized to transmit IP signals effectively. This approach reduced the need for extensive rewiring, saving 40% in labor costs and accelerating the installation of the elevator surveillance systems. The solution ensured reliable and high-quality video transmission over long distances, addressing the project's key challenges.
