Avidipta Phase 2 is a prestigious residential development located in Kolkata, India. This project is part of a larger residential complex designed to provide luxury living in one of the city’s most sought-after areas. The development features multiple high-rise towers, with the tallest building reaching 48 floors.

Project Requirement

The building’s elevator video surveillance system required an IP upgrade to enhance security. Due to limited construction time, it was crucial to complete the upgrades quickly without disturbing nearby resident. The goal was to ensure a smooth installation process that wouldn’t interfere with ongoing activities, while seamlessly integrating the new IP surveillance system.

Transmission Solution

Using the Ourten Ethernet Extender OT-PLC302, the team leveraged the existing traveling 2-wire cables, significantly speeding up the cabling process by 50%. This approach allowed the project to be completed ahead of schedule, reducing labor costs by 40% and minimizing disruptions to the surrounding area.
